Aurelia Luca appointed MD at Skanska Property Romania

Skanska’s commercial development unit in CEE has announced the appointment of Aurelia Luca as Managing Director for Skanska Property Romania. She will also become a permanent member of Skanska CEE’s commercial development unit Management Team with immediate effect.

Aurelia has over 16 years’ experience in the real estate market. She started in Skanska Property Romania in 2012, where she held the position of Leasing Manager, and from 2016 to 2017 as Country Director. In her previous roles, Aurelia was fully committed to successfully delivering, leasing and divesting the Green Court Bucharest office complex, strengthening Skanska`s position in the northern part of the city with the Equilibrium project, and leading the way as Skanska entered a new sub-market with the Campus 6 development.

As Managing Director, Aurelia will continue Skanska’s mission of developing sustainable office projects in Romania’s capital city - Bucharest. The new position means that she will be the first Romanian member of the Management Team of Skanska office development unit in CEE.

In her new role Aurelia will report directly to the team’s President and CEO, Katarzyna Zawodna.

Aurelia is a talented and experienced manager who has significantly contributed to Skanska’s office business development in Romania. A Managing Director with a local background and knowledge guarantees an in-depth market understanding, and greatly increases the chances of success. I’m delighted that Aurelia is joining the CEE Management Team. Her fresh insights and significant experience will help in the company’s future development in the region.
