A quick fitting of a new collection in Paris or Milan, without first touching the clothes? Digital fitting solutions to suit customer preferences? Selected products delivered directly to the fitting room from a huge three-storey warehouse with nearly 250,000 items? A Modivo store was launched in Warsaw, in an innovative formula – without clothes being exposed in the sales space, but with 21 specially designed digital terminals, thanks to which customers have access to an unprecedented offer, available on site. Nanovo is responsible for the digital in-store technology (DIS) present in the sales room, in the fitting rooms and integration of digital processes.
Innovation is our driving force. With every project we want to provide our customers with new, unprecedented shopping experiences. We focus on full integration of sales channels. More and more customers appreciate the quality of the shopping experience at least as much as the products themselves. They appreciate technological novelties and consciously manage their time dedicated to shopping. The technology influences their behaviour to an increasingly profound extent - e.g. when shopping, browsing through the offers of an online store, comparing prices and viewing products stationary.
Konrad Jezierski, head of retail at eobuwie.pl (owner of the MODIVO brand)
- showcasing of the product offer on digital workstations
- contextual digital communication on big format displays in the entrance area as well as in common areas of the store
- a completely new experience in fitting rooms (the customer can adjust the color of lighting to her/his preferences, and the process of selection of settings and products is carried out through a digital terminal built into the fitting sheathing)
- integration with the e-commerce platform, thanks to which an order in a stationary boutique can be realized in a scenario that customers know from the online world
- communication with in-store warehouse systems, so that orders are transferred from digital terminals in the store space to the warehouse systems. The customer in the interactive changing rooms has the possibility of expanding the shopping basket and adding sizes directly from the changing room without the participation of staff. Thanks to the integration with the warehouse logistics technology, the digital in-store system has access to data on the progress of the order realization.
Customers love to and need to feel, touch and try out selected products on site. They also want to use fast and convenient processes that they know from online channels. The combination of the Internet, IOT solutions, social features and stationary sales is the field where Nanovo technology and team experience work best. This project is very important as it should be technologically positioned in a completely new category. Since the implementation of our digital in-store solution at MODIVO’s boutique, the definition of digital channels in physical retail spaces is gaining new meaning.
