A new office has been built on five floors of the Metropoint Office building in Warsaw. Tétris, the leader of the fit-out market in Poland, was responsible for the detailed design and its implementation. This elegant space is filled with concrete and wood, warmed up with fabrics and tropical accents. One of the challenges faced by the Design x Build team was to create a large, fully equipped with modern systems, conference room which can be easily transformed into smaller rooms.
The main idea behind the design of the conference room was to be able to transform it into three smaller rooms using two mobile, semi-automatic walls. We installed a perforated Knauf plasterboard suspended ceiling there, in which we placed numerous installations and an automatic projection screen. Fitting so many installations in a specific layout required particular coordination and close cooperation between the architects and site engineers responsible for different areas.
